Rocky Creek Christian Academy
Mission
RCCA exists to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for preschool and
school age children. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience
which promotes each child's social/emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our goal
is to support children's desire to be lifelong learners and productive citizens.
Rocky Creek Christian Academy adheres to a strict non-discrimination policy in its employment and student enrollment practices including the provision of services to its clients and parents. RCCA will not refuse, withhold, or limit the provision of any services to any present or prospective client , student, parent, or make any employment decision regarding any current or prospective employee, based solely on that individual's race, color, religious creed, orientation, pregnancy, or citizenship status. RCCA is an equal opportunity employer.

Deborah Madden - Co Director
Mrs. Deborah holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education and has worked in the childcare field for more than twenty-five years. "It is my desire to help RCCA provide each child with the necessary tools they will need to be successful in life. In the words of Frederick Douglass, 'It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men'."
Lacie Earl - Co- Director
Mrs. Lacie holds a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Accounting and Management and has worked in
the childcare field for over fifteen years under the mentorship of Ms. Madden. "I am fulfilling my purpose
in life by helping to provide a safe, loving, nurturing environment for the children and their parents at RCCA.
Just seeing the smiling faces day after day, receiving the hugs, and making a lifelong impact is priceless.
We lay the foundation for life."
Programs
Infants
Caring for an infant is probably one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs that a caregiver
will undertake. Babies are born entirely helpless and depend on their parents and caregivers to
meet their needs. At RCCA our caregivers are here to provide the best situation and environment for an infant's overall development. Our caregivers provide a nurturing, supportive environment where the infants thrive socially, emotionally, and physically.
Toddlers
They are at the run, run, run age and they don't want to slow down. Their little minds are also
running and gathering as much information as it can. It's during this time we try to provide our
toddlers with stimulation play inside the classroom and outside on the playground. We introduce
colors, patterns, words, sippy cups, songs, sharing, and much, much more in our toddler town.
Walking is just the tip of the Toddler Town iceberg.
2K
2K is our intro into the kinderworld! In our 2K class our students potty-train and focus on learning
with colors, letters, and numbers. Fine motor skills are observed to help them properly develop great writing skills. Social skills and self help skills are introduced as well. We are eager and excited about watching and sharing the discoveries they make in 2K!
3K
This classroom is for those who have mastered the potty-training class and is ready for more
independence. Teachers in this room provide a fun and safe environment where children learn
through play. They continue developing self-help, social, and fine motor skills and are
introduced to classroom rules and responsibilities such as cleaning their stations and
putting away their personal items. Speech is progressed through daily reading and story
telling. 3K provides students with the skills they will need when they transition into our 4Kprogram.
4K
Most of the children in our 4K program will begin school the following year. It is the goal of
the staff in this class to make sure each student is ready for kindergarten. We spend a great
deal of time on the educational aspects of kindergarten. Routine structure, listening and following
multi step instructions, kindness, respect, and the enjoyment of school are all focal points of this
class. Completing classwork and time management are also introduced. Following completion
of this class and entry into a K5 program grants them a graduation. It is one of our biggest celebrations of the year!
After School
This program is designed for students who currently attend elementary or middle school. We
provide transportation to and from several local schools. Academics are important to us,
therefore we provide homework assistance as part of our program.
